Imaging learning to flyfish with one of the world's most talented guides on a private lake that's full of the hardest fighting fish imaginable. That is a dream that can easily come true. Max, a life-long flyfisherman and guide can show you how to catch huge Barramundi on a fly.

If you want to learn how to tie flies, he can teach you. If you want to learn about how to fight a big Barramundi properly, he's your best bet in Thailand. Everything is included in Max's fishing trips.

Check out this big boy! These are the hardest fighting fish I've ever had the pleasure of catching.
If you don't get your fingers off of the fly line when they hit, you'll likely get "rope burn"... I speak from experience.
They hit and run like crazy!

Flyfishing guide Thailand

One of the many big Barramundi that Max caught. Max uses nothing but top-end flyfishing gear and he has gear for you to use too. Max supplied me with a nice Orvis rod and reel combo... definitely a sweet setup!

Thailand flyfishing guide

Max taught me more in one day here than I could have learned in years of fishing on my own.
He is truly dedicated to flyfishing with a love for the sport that is apparent from the moment he opens his mouth.
This guy is truly one of the greats in flyfishing!
He's done it all too, including catching billfish on a fly.

It was one big fish after another. I'm cradling a very nice Orvis rod and reel.
This is what Max supplies to his clients... nothing but the best is his motto.

Flyfishing for big Barramundi in Thailand

Barramundi are originally from Australia. They are now a very popular fish in Thailand.
Max has the exclusive rights to fish many of the better private ponds.
If you've always wanted to learn how to fly fish, there is no better way than to land big fish on high-end flyflshing gear!

Big Barramundi on a fly

Of course no guide can guarantee fish, but with Max you've got a great chance of not only fish, but big fish...
On this trip Max and his fishing buddy David Sylstra caught 10 fish and lost 3. The average was 14lbs!
