This is the hearty
bunch of explorers who participated in the adventure. Left
to right, it's Shreyas, Joshua, Ben, Kimberley, Hussain and
Adam.

The first night's
camp was just above the beach in a rubber plantation on Ko
Yao Noi. There was a well which had nice cool water to soothe
mildly sore muscles.

Here, the gang
is reading the chart to start the navigation for the day's
paddle.

The lovely cliffs
of Ko Batang. The cliffs around the entire island are stunning.

Hmm, what does
SPF mean again?

Here is Ben relaxing
at the campsite on Laem Taeng (Melon Point). The overhanging
rock provided shelter from the potential rain... no need to
put the flies on the tents.

This photo was
taken on the last day after a couple of long open-water crossings.
Shreyas, who capsized the first day and really looked uncomfortable,
ended up coming in first at the end. The phrase "zero
to hero" comes to mind. Everyone did a wonderful
job and we were all very impressed with their drive and determination.
This is exactly what The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme
is all about.
